Kia ora, The decisions are killing me. If got a project that needs speed control of two small DC motors. Encoders output max of 2200Hz. each. The PIC18F242 would eat the task but I'm wondering about whether something like a PIC16F876 would do it. It's got the two PWM outputs but I'm worried about whether I can keep up with the two encoders with interrupt routines (presumably a couple of interrupt on change pins). Need to work out which port caused the change and increment a counter. Just writing this down makes me think it's easy enough. Anyone done it? While I'm at it. What's your favourite dual H-bridge?
