Come on Alan ! ;-) Don't send him to the basics, is much easy considering the gnd and the Vcc with 0 impedance , gnd because is ground and Vcc because it cames from a zero output impedance stabilizer, so you have two resistors connected in parallel because vcc and gnd are equal to 0 ( as impedance and not as values ) Of course the crude reality is a little different...
