Well for software I highly recommend David Tait's FPP: http://www.man.ac.uk/~mbhstdj/piclinks.html With the addition of a single DLL, operation on XP has been verified. My programmer, the TLVP doesn't meet your requirements. It's here: http://www.finitesite.com/d3jsys It's deliberately designed as a trivial low voltage programmer. Works great on 16F87X and 16F62X parts in low voltage programming mode, but won't work with the 16F84A, which requires high voltage. > > Thanks for any advice!
