You guys are way off base on this. I fetch my mail using a simple POP3
client written in Perl, and read it using an ordinary text editor, so I can
assure you that no "processing" of the message contents occurs before I see
it.

In Tal Bejerano's messages, there is nothing but plain ASCII text, properly
wrapped, and the message headers reflect this. The only difference I can
see is that his messages have:

   Content-Type: text/plain; charset="windows-1255"

while most other messages on the list have:

   Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I can only conclude that your mail clients are "fixing up" the messages,
perhaps based on the charset, before you see them. You should check into
correcting your own settings before you start criticizing others.

It's interesting that all three of you are using MS Outlook and can't seem
to communicate effectively, while the rest of us are having no trouble at
all communicating with you and everyone else. That's got to tell us
something about the wisdom of overengineered email clients and the "embrace
and extend" philosophy...
