Hi all
Since two years I build a small system RCT-02 that used to control
electrical devices remotely via phone line

it is a simple system and one of the important thing is to detect the ring
signal
I connect the phone line directly to the PIC with big resister protection
So the shape of ring in my country is like this  (Freq 20Hz)


5 V             _______            _______
             ___|          |_______|           |_____
0 V                   a          b

a = b = 25 ms

and if there is a caller Id data it looks like this

5V              _______            _______
            ___|          |___/\___|           |_____
0 V                             C

 C = 8 ms Id data


But last month I have send some devices to Saudi and it did not work because
these devices did not detect the ringing  .......
any one knows what it might be the shape of ring signal in Saudia ......?
