The system can measure correct just the surface temperature of the mixture acid-sample. When the fibre is imersed the mixture may be less or more infrared opaque. Remember I need to digest tousens of sample types from soil to human kidneys... There is also a problem with temperature distribution which has a variation of 100C in 5 seconds of treatment.
