As someone who receives the list in digest format I ask people to
please .. please.. please trim some of the quoting from the bottom of
the message.  The most recent digest i received was -predominantly- 3
line posts followed by 40 or 50 lines of stuff that had been quoted
over and over and over and never trimmed.
