True, but he should have gotten out when they refused to listen. Maybe even went to the media or the SEC, I know I would have considered it. I've been in a moral dilemna like that before myself (on a smaller scale, obviously) and that's what I did -- left the company. I guess that's why I feel I can live with myself (and have never contemplated suicide).
