Be careful with this device, although the datasheet says 16bit ADC I have found through my playing that the last few (4 - 5) bits are pretty random, giving me 11 - 12 bits of usable resolution. Now I could have a lousy layout or circuit or even bad software but for usable 12 bit ADCs I now use AD7858 external 8 channel, 12 bit devices.# Pete .............................................................................. .
