I figured I After dealing with my daughter's 10-gallon tank, I have one solution that I figured would maintain a perfectly constant temperature: boil the water. I started with 5 fish and am down to 4 after a couple weeks. The water turbidity is perfect. And the green sheen looks like a giant bowl of KoolAid.
