Armstrong provided all the creativity and innovation with the tube. deForest couldn't even explain regeneration, yet he claims to be the "father" of radio, and subsequently the "grandfather" of television. What a bunch of malarkey. Sorry for the rant, but I have a deep contempt for "inventors" that operate like deForest or Edison.
