Hi all, I have a Siemens SL45 battery here that seems to loose charge in about 1/2mins, even after a full charge time. I want to fully discharge this battery (Lithium Polymer 540mAh, 3.6V) fully to see if the battery is FUBAR'ed or can be charged again. I am contenplating just hooking it to a 10R 25W resistor (this won't damage it, I don't think), and leaving it for a few hours. Is there any better (read quicker) way, that won't damage the battery. I don't know if there are any "smart" components there.. tia, Bernard -- Bernard Tyers * NCSR * DCU * P:00.353.1.700.5273 * L:N117 * W:www.physics.dcu.ie/~bty -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
