It's not an error. You've probably worked out the 10k resistor acts as a pullup for pin 11 (just in case the PC doesn't have one). In FPP I define pin 3 as the VDD control pin for TOPIC2 (although it's not used in the circuits I've published) and you might think this would be a good point to connect the pullup. In fact, you could use pin 3. However, I also set a few other pins high all the time (including pin 7) and I use pin 7 instead. > ps I used you assci art to build my first programmer, 1990 was > it that long ago?
