Is it Siemans that makes this chip?  SOMEBODY does, few years ago I had the
data sheet on it, intending on looking closer, but like all projects, took
the back seat to others.  But, somebody does make a VFD chip.

Seems to me, that even Microchip was doing something with this (timeframe of
like....4 years ago or more), the quick little blurb was talking of a 3
phase motor controller, and I even contacted the author on this one, and
turns out the app was cancelled for some reason.  Or at least was put on the
back burner as well.  Maybe someone else remembers this one.  It was kinda
obscure.
