Oh, I thought you were trying to USE the pad, but you are trying to replace
it? That's a harder nut to crack, one way I'd probably go about it is assume
it just outputs standard async serial streams and keep sending strings to
the alarm unit with varying parity, stop bit and baud settings, you might
get lucky! :) TTYL
