Given the huge amount of 'strange' files that Microsoft C produces and the time it takes to compile I've stayed with Delphi for quickie Windows apps. I've had to do some in both Microsoft generic C in DOS boxes and also C++ as Windows Apps. I'll take Delphi any time for convenience. Compiles that finish before I lift my hands from the keyboard make testing just fly.
