Hello All:

I just started to build my own simple programmer for the 18F devices, =
but I'm having trouble communicating with the chip. I've built a small =
plataform based on 16F628 that can receive commands from the RS232 and =
transmit then to the target device (18F). I was succesfull reading and =
writing the 16Fxxx devices, but can't do the same with 18F devices (Hey, =
I know that the protocol is different).
Anyone has experience on transmiting serial commands to program these =
new chips ??? If anyone could help, maybe we could soon have a free =
programmer (and maybe an ICD too) for these new devices. I'm planning to =
write the PC frontend software in delphi 6. If anyone has interest, =
maybe we could make these chips more accessible to the PIC comunity.
