Hello, I'm wanting to make an audio mixer for my own personal use and of course, I'll put a PIC in it. :) So, I'm looking for a digitally controlled audio chip. I've seen some very interesting like the National LM1972 (audio attenuator, serial shift control input) and the Philips TEA6320 (volume, balance, bass, treble, I2C control!). The Philips seens to be very usable, but as I always want more, a parametric EQ would be very cool. I've researched everywhere and the TEA6320 seens to be the most powerfull, but I would really love a more flexible EQ. Also, the 6320 have loudness and five(!) selectable inputs with two pair of outputs and I really don't need all this stuff. A chip with one stereo input, one stereo output and parametric EQ and volume/mute would be perfect. Someone knows any other chip that could be usefull to me?
