As I mention in the first paragraph

was originally built to measure audio samples, then WDT
timing. However, a neighbour, a keen hunter, did ask for
a timing system to check out the different powders and
shells he was using. At the gun end of the measurement
distance (100m) I made an IR trigger that then sent a pulse
via a red laser to the other end to start the timing. The shell
knocked a light flag which stopped the timing. Now, I'm not
saying it was as accurate as it could have been because
of several inherent time delays in the system, but we could
show repeatable results of different combinations of powders
and shells

Although finished in terms of the jobs I wanted it for, I've always
meant to get back to it and complete both the h/w and s/w ideas
with the F84-10  or upgrade it to 20MHzl
