Hi,

I need to measure small distnaces (max 1 meter). Basically,
a ckt that can differentiate two objects that are located
15 cms and 45 cms away from it. Acccurate measurement is
not needed. However it should distinguish between the two
objects. say, it sets one output high for when detecting
a closer object and sets the other output high when it
detects the farther object. I know this can be done using
ultrasonic tx/rx. But is this possible using infra red.
Any ideas on this ? Has anyone tried this ?
