I'm not really a theory person but detecting beta particles for instance =
would probably be random enough, but a geiger tube is a bit over kill =
for my application- can a similar thing be done with a transistor? =
Something like biasing a switching transistor so that it flips randomly =
between on and off ( although obviously not if its going to oscillate =
with a regular period)
