Currently using a 16F872, but looking for something physically smaller, = and I'm willing to sacrifice some features. I'm using a DIP (28-pin) = package and did think about using a smaller format (SOIC, etc), but would prefer to = stick with the .100 lead-spacing (for now). My minimum requirements are: - 12 digital I/O - 1 A/D (10-bit min preferred). - Single timer. - Flash - 1K program memory is fine - Speed of 4Mhz is fine That's about 17 pins, if I add some for Vdd, Vss, Osc1&2, etc. On Microchip's website, I found a PIC16F818, 16F819 that come in 18-pin DIP formats, but there is no datasheet on these. Just a product brief. = A quick check at digikey and pios shows no results. Similarly for the = 16F87/8/9. Do they even make these parts? Or are they vaporware? Or a future = product? Any idea if there is another chip that can meet these requirements? Thanks, -Neil. -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics (like ads or off topics) for you.
