Hi, just a quickie: Has anyone had a look at the firmware for the =
picstart+ in a disassembler, or had a good poke around inside to see how =
it works?

I'm interested in how the software (mplab) controls the hardware, and =
the possible scope for writing a custom firmware image to allow =
programming of non microchip devices (if the hardware is able to support =
them)
