12C67x, yes.  They're 14 bit parts.  PCM won't do the 12-bit core parts,
12C50x/12C51x.  I've been using it for quite a while and very rarely have
any problems...  it's true there are regular bug-fix releases (less
frequent now as V3.x settles down), but the bugs are almost never anything
that affects me, so I'm happy with it.  New features are added often.
