Why on earth would someone write text messaging software for a phone that was susceptible to hackers? Doesn't blue-tooth bring a warm fuzzy feeling to everyone? I can't wait till I go downstairs and theres coffee all over the floor, from the maker making 15 pots over night. Or how about when you're away from the house, the oven, stove, furnace, and a/c are running continuously. Soon, my car will start itself up and run all night. Of course the newest CAN virus will be destroying my engine slowly, wasting gas, and fooling me with the odometer, while it spreads from car to car at intersections. I'll be the only guy in town that *can't* get past my home security system. Some new X-10 type virus will switch my lights on and off during the voltage peaks, while carefully allowing them to cool between switches causing the bulbs to blow out. Not to mention finding everything thawed in the freezer and frozen in the fridge. Oh joy, oh joy, I can't wait for the future of device/internet interconnectivity. > I received auto-run spam from a German IT company. > Needless to say I shall not be taking them up on their > offers, no matter how $*(#*!*#% "erstaunlich" they are > > -- > http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics > (like ads or off topics) for you.
