It's by no coincidence that the largest US manufacturer of rail transport
equipment is named General Electric, and their product is called
"Diesel/Electric". They must be pretty sharp, because they came to the same
conclusion and have been generating the power that drives their Electric
motors with Diesel Engines for some years now.
