The only ones I found for 12V that were rated at >the pressure/temp of the household water supply were industrial valves at a >few hundred dollars. They came from a lab supply catalog, IIRC, they were $30 a piece and had a $200 controller that could be bought separately to run them. I didn't need their controller though! I haven't priced them, but what about those infrared valves that some places use in their bathrooms to turn the water on when your hands are under the sink? And taking a quick trip out on the web I find at www.koehler.com under commercial faucets a battery powered touchless faucet with optional thermostatic mixing valve - part numbers k-13672 k-13601. The valve part number is k-82972. I couldn't find the price though. I'm sure other facuet makers make them too, the one in my lab just has koehler stamped on the knobs. _____________________________________________________________ Cris Wilson Information Resource Consultant College of Architecture, Arts, and Humanities Clemson University cris@clemson.edu To report problems email: aah_computers@clemson.edu -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
