An alternative way to look at it is that you will sell them an unrestricted use, source code license to your library routines. It is just coincidence that a) the exact function isn't in your library yet b) the function will drop perfectly into their code c) the license fee is remarkably close to the time taken to write it multiplied by your hourly rate.
