Also, I see a fairly large number of messages bounced every day by various mail servers. Some of the reasons: Attachments trigger virus scanners. Anyone using certain mailers (The BAT!) that are SPAMMER favorites. Servers down for extended periods. Misconfigured mail servers, loops, etc. A host of reasons I'm too tired to list. I generally don't take action on temporary errors unless they get really annoying or persist for more than a day, but there are dozens every day that get dropped for one reason or another.
