In the course of doing my first programming of a 16F877, I am seeing an error message everytime I hit the program button. The error message is: "Command [66] not echoed properly [FE]". In spite of the error message, MPLAB indicates that the programming was successful. Another message that I see when I hit the verify button is: "Command [54] not echoed properly [FC]". Again, MPLAB indicates that the verify was OK. Are these known problems that I'm just seeing for the first time? Am I perhaps missing something in my hex file or might I need an update for my Picstart firmware? I'm currently running MPLAB 5.50 (firmware rev 2.30 in the programmer) which is the latest version that I've seen.
