Not really, but those of us who use text based email clients due to their speed and efficiency hate wading through the extra garbage. I can blow through a hundred list messages with Pine in a few minutes. I use Outlook for other mail, but never for the list -- it's just too inefficient. Engineers hate inefficient things. It also sucks up far too much bandwidth when the extra formatting stuff has to be reproduced for every single list subscriber. What really toasts me, though, is not using the right topic tag so not only does everyone see an OT post, but now half a dozen will probably respond, just adding to the problem. **PLEASE** tag things like this as OT (not picking on Nick, there are plenty more where he came from).
