Hmmm, I had a sonar customer go AWOL as well. I started with the Polaroid
module but dumped it for a variety of reasons and made a high-gain
low-noise TVA front end for it, as well as a more appropriate driver for
the transducers I spec'd. Used a PIC16F876, and did some processing,
communication and LED digital display stuff.

But I wonder how good an idea it would be to use Polaroid parts in a
commercial design, last I heard they were in danger of going Tango Uniform.
