There is a reason the individual hobbyist or small-time consulting geek won't get a lot of support out of the manufacturer directly. As an aside, I can remember in the very early 80's asking Intel for a particular data book -- I was a near-starving Army junior enlisted with an oddball hobby, which lost out to the wife & kids when it came to spending what very little we had. Imagine my surprise when, a couple of days later, came an express package with about ten pounds of manuals, gratis. Heh - try that now. I think I still have my old Intel Peripheral Design Handbook. The Web has been a true blessing, a few years ago it was almost impossible to get free documentation out of many manufacturers. Now that they can make it available for free again things are much better. Dale -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
