Greetings, I have built a steering wheel and pedals for racing games on my PC. I now would like to use a PIC to digitize the info back to the joystick = port. I'm thinking about using a PIC16C74B or maybe a PIC16F877. I need at = least 5 A/D channels for steering, gas, brake, upshift, an downshift.=20 The steering, gas, and brake pots are 0-5VDC, and the upshift and = downshift are just open and close circuits. Does it matter if the A/D is 8, 10, or 12 bit? Has anyone had any = experience with PIC's and the joystick port? Does anyone have any sample = code that I can work with?=20 Thanks in advance for your help, Jeff PS This my first post. I hope this topic hasn't been beat to death = already. -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY! [EE]:,[OT]: ->Other [BUY]:,[AD]: ->Ads
