I have been using 16F874's for microwire programming for a while. Now, I
need to also program an I2C device, along with the microwire device. I've
hooked both up to the SCK/SCL pin, for clock, but the microwire device is
connected to SD0 for data, adn RC1 for latch enable. The I2C device is
connected to SDA for data, and SCK/SCL for clock. The device I am
attempting to program is I2C compatible, with an address of CA hex. What is
the proper procedure for setting up the PIC for this device? The PIC is to
be the master. Specifically, I am looking for guidance on how to set such
things as SSPSTAT, SSPCON, TRISC. Does anyone know how to set these for
proper operation in my situation? The data and address are both 8 bits.
