Many years ago, my kids were certain that their Daddy couldn't count.=20

They told my wife that when I got to 9, I started using letters and
they *knew* that after 9, comes 10 and not A.=20

Have you ever tried to explain number bases to a four-year-old? (It's
not a pretty sight.)
