Hahaha ... yeah, I remember that.  In fact, I was in elementary school (in
Canada) when Canada switched to metric.

So, I'm thinking about this ... why is it that beverages are the only
thing where metric seems to have stuck?  Ex: 2l bottles of soda, 750ml
bottles of liquor.
