NT4 has no native USB support the way Win2K and Win98 and later do. To use
USB you have to have specific drivers written for the device you are
driving.

This makes it a whole different ballgame to using USB on NT4 than any of the
later operating systems, because you have to write that driver as well,
instead of emulating something for which a driver already exists.
