I have a magnoresistive current sensor, where it requires a +/- 12to15 VDC supply to feed an opamp, and the output is across an internal resistor to generate a voltage relative to the input current. Of course the output does follow the 60Hz sine wave, so to get a measurement I just need to sample at the peak of the input, not a big deal. But, the voltage output ground reference is not the same as the opamp voltage ground, so the only way I see to make this work is to either isolate the output with a voltage follower, or use a complete seperate power supply/ground for the sensor and tie the sensor output reference gnd to the PIC ground. Any thoughts? _________________________________________________________________ Join the world s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics (like ads or off topics) for you.
