Hello List, I'm sorry to bother you all with this question, but I am running out of ideas.. Recently my friend and I bought an HP 7475A plotter and slightly modified it for prototype PCB drawing. The problem is, we cannot get the plotter to work with hardware handshaking, even though we made the cable according to manufacturer's specs. When we try to print, everything goes well for the first few seconds, then ERROR light starts to blink, and plotter begins to draw mysterious geometric shapes. If the drawing was simple enough, say a small square, nothing like this happens (no buffer overflow). I know there is a way to switch the handshaking mode using buttons on the front panel. Does anyone know which ones? I would really appreciate any help!
