>i got a problem. Need To know if there is a ms-dos version in hebrew >lenguaje or the way to translate a program into this lenguaje and if >there is easy to change the programs written in spanish into hebrew If >anyone could inform me please do it I am not an expert on Hebrew but we have something called CP862 here (the codepage for Hebrew I think). The problem is the right to left writing which hwill require that all the screen layouts be changed. If your software has no provisions for this then I think that it is a major undertaking. The character set for DOS Hebrew uses normal ASCII with the high bit set. The ISO standard that covers Hebrew is ISO8859-8. There are three types of Hebrew encoding in use. ISO (Internet), IBM, and DOS (known as old DOS). There are documents on the net about this. As I said, the major major problem is right to left writing, just as long as your software supports 8 bit clean ASCII.
