Actually in theory at least, lemons should work.
Insert a strip of copper and a strip of zinc (or galvanized sheetmetal) or
aluminum into each lemon, connect the copper side of one lemon to the zinc
side of the next. I am not sure how many you would need or if you would have
to parallel them for enough juice...
