I love how the outlets in Vancouver tell you 4-6 weeks on stuff they claim to
have had in stock. I live about 150 east in Kelowna which is the electronic
black hole of the world. Trying to get parts here follows a few paths...

"We don't have it in our catalog no-one in the world makes such a thing..."

"Oh you don't want that, I've got something just as good in back, it's a

I've been getting my bros in law in Phoenix pick up stuff locally and fire
it up
airmail. I can get almost any part in 4-6 days. I found one place called
circuit
specialists who told me they do about 90% of their business from Canada
because of this. They are a lot cheaper than Digi or Newark but don't have
quite the linecard as those two.

They are great to deal with on the phone too. Very helpful. I didn't get a
xmas card tho
