Wondering if anyone here has ordered from Newark Electronics
before and care to comment on their dealings/shipping charges.

I don't care for their on-line ordering. There's one part that says
orders before a certain time are shipped the same day. BUT, if you pay
with a credit card they hold the order for 24-hours for some sort of
security thing. The time I found all this out I ordered an item and
paid extra for faster shipping thinking I would have it before a
weekend. It didn't arrive until the following Monday.

All that said I do occasionally use them. Some of their lines are
carried by other suppliers.
