I do not know if DPT make ATA versions, but their SCSI cards used to do nice RAID arrays invisible to the op system. Also be aware that win NT/2k/XP all have raid built into them. Unfortunately the workstation/pro version does not do mirror drives but allows striping which always seemed a backwards way of looking at it.
