Hi,

A colleague of mine is having some difficulty with the Xicor X1227 part; as
if it wasn't enough that we had problems with one of their real time clocks
before.

He states that the following issues occur:
1. 32kHz oscillator does not always start when 3v battery connected; it
seems to need a 5v 'kick'.
2. Once started the 32kHz sometimes seems to stop for no obvious reason.

Anyone else seen this part exhibiting this behaviour/offer any help?
