Thank you all for your help and suggestion.  I got the I2C interface to
work between 16F873 and TC1322 DAC already.  I know it has been a while
since I started this thread (about a week ago), and I have disappeared
since.  I was enjoying my skiing trip, just got back and had some time
to try more things out within the last 2 days.  So, it's now working
great and thank you all!
