My roommate needs a 10-input high-def-capable component video switcher. How can I make one of these? I know how to use a PIC to decode IR signals, but I don't know how to actually switch the video signals. It would be nice to have more than one output, but that's not completely necessary. I know that IC switchers can have bandwidth limitations, so it's not unreasonable to use relays to do the switching, but I'm not sure a relay wouldn't radiate lots of RF. Any ideas?
