I've surf the net using Mobile phone in Malaysia @ 9600bps via GSM. You
just have to make sure the baud rate of your mobile for IrDA port or serial
(COM/ RS232) is the same. As long as your service provider provide data
link for WAP/ fax you should be able to do it. So far I've tried with
Motorola(?)  and Siemens (6688?). Both have PIM feature for synching with
MS. Outlook.
