I tried using your last name and found 23 people with the last name "Pavlica"

That would be the first and easiest place to look assuming your grandfather
had a phone in his name.

The RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police - Canada's National police force)
may not want to get involved directly
but if you talk to your local police closest to you they can ask the RCMP
to find him. They do things this way for
